Shara L. Celi is legal assistant with the firm.
Ms. Celi graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from East Carolina University in June 2004. During her time at East Carolina University, she participated in a study abroad program to Brisbane, Australia where she completed three courses in Australian politics and culture at Queensland University of Technology.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms Celi worked with the law firm Brunenkant & Cross, an energy law firm located in Washington DC, where she held the position of legal assistant. At the firm, she regularly made filings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and aided the firm’s five attorneys, as well as the office manager, with various projects. Ms. Celi also served as administrative manager for Capital Distributors, a wine distribution company for the DC metro area. There, she handled the management of the company’s administrative duties which included the creation of invoices and purchase orders for various customers, completing monthly wine tax reports for the states of Maryland and Virginia and aiding in the management of the company’s finances. She was also asked to attend the 6th annual Washington DC International Wine and Food Festival as a representative.
Having joined David Meyer & Associates in August 2005, Ms. Celi is the newest addition to the firm. Her primary responsibilities include greeting clients, managing client files, organizing and indexing pleadings and assisting the staff with the various securities arbitration and consumer class action cases. Additionally, Ms. Celi handles the day-to-day management of the firm's administrative duties.
